Since 2011, Daniel Meier Sr. is proud to be one of few in North America that uses the milk from his own herd of cows to handmake quality cheese. Originally from Switzerland, Dan learned his craft through summer’s spent in the Swiss Alps with his brothers, where their days were filled with making cheese.

Dan Meier emigrated to North America in 1990 with his young family with the hope of beginning a new life, and to share his knowledge and passion for cheese within North America.
